Muthill Parish Church et on the edge of the Scottish Highlands, Muthill is the perfect gateway to some of Scotland's most beautiful scenery. This picturesque conservation village has a wealth of "listed" buildings, including some of the finest examples of 18th century Scottish vernacular architecture.
The Parish Church at Muthill, with its 11th century tower and 15th century nave and choir, is an impressive sight. The graveyard too has some very interesting gravestones, several dating back to the 17th century.

Drummond Castle Gardens ituated on the northern outskirts of Muthill you will find the magnificent Drummond Castle Gardens, considered by many to be one of the finest formal gardens in Europe. First laid out in the 17th century these beautiful gardens are a sight not to be missed, with their ancient yew tree hedges and the sundial erected in 1630.

Earthquake House f you are looking for something that little
bit out of the ordinary, you should visit Britain's first seismological station at Earthquake House. Recently refurbished and situated in the nearby village of Comrie, this will provide a most interesting visit! For those wishing further information we have an interesting geology section.

alking in Strathearn is a real delight. The area has so many beautiful country walks where you can take in the full grandeur of the Strathearn valley and the beauty of St Fillans & Loch Earn where you can enjoy the fresh Highland air. Strathbraan Treks provide guided walks throughout Perthshire, each one accompanied by an experienced and fully trained Guide who will help you discover some of Scotland's hidden natural treasures.

uthill and its neighbours have had a turbulent history, straddling Highland and Lowland country and cultures. The towns of Strathearn have been shaped by centuries of feuding between clans and rulers.
