According to Jim Low, Principle Officer Estates at Perth and Kinross Council, the new industrial units on Duchlage Road should be available for occupation middle to late June.
The units will be named Crioch Business Centre, Crioch Place, and there are eight units in two mirror image blocks - two at 120sq. metres, two at 80sq. metres and four at 50sq. metres.
The units are steel framed with a mono pitch insulated metal sheet roof. The walls are double skin concrete block with the outer skin being an attractive facing block. There is high level lighting supplemented by flourescent electric lighting. Each unit has a toilet with disabled access. There is vehicular door from the common service area (there are no external compound areas).
There are designated car parking spaces to the front of the units.
Annual rents are £5160, £3600 and £2400, all plus service charge and VAT respectively. Negotiations are taking place with a number of prospective tenants, but as of the 15th. May, there are still units available at 120 and 50sq. metres.

The project, at over £500,000, has been partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund Rural Stirling/Upland Tayside Objective 5b Programme and is a direct result of consultation with Crieff and West Strathearn Initiative Trust and Crieff and West Strathearn Business Association and local businesses.
